I am an animator, illustrator, designer, maker, dad, and husband. I have always strived to create. Growing up in Michigan’s upper peninsula, I have always worked with my hands. Learning to work with wood and metal at an early age brought me into my early career as a welder/fabricator and then to a machinist operating manual and cnc mills and lathes. From there I followed more of my creative side and worked as a tattoo artist for a few years before going to college at Grand Valley State University. After graduating I worked in the industry rounding my skills and knowledge in the print process as the lead designer in a local print shop.
Then designing greeting cards before finally landing at Keen Studio. I have been honing my skills in motion design, illustration and brand development at Keen Studio since 2016. In 2020 we began working remote. Once leadership saw that I was in fact more efficient working from home, the remote/hybrid system stayed. I am a very self-motivated worker with incredible time management skills. Working in an agency has developed skills to allow me to balance multiple projects at one time.
